Vintage Ohio Souvenir Collectible Plate.  Stamped on back:  Fine American Ironstone  Ohio The Buckeye State with it's 41,222 square miles, Ohio gained statehood in 1803.  With a present population of over 10 million people, it is one of the nations leading industrial states.  As a transportation center, it has one of the most prestigious higher educational systems int he country.  As well as being a cultural center of arts and sciences, it is renowned for it's championship teams in football, baseball, and basketball teams in both the amateur and professional ranks.  Ohio has contributed no less than eight native sons to the Presidency of the U.S.  Smiles Industries Inc  New York, NY  Made in U.S.A.   .My husband and I bought the basement of an estate treasures site unseen.   This is one the many souvenir plates we received.  No chips, cracks, or repairs.
