Description
Check this out. 1930's era pool cue. Two-piece cue with original shaft and factory logo decal. This cue has a beautiful birdseye maple forearm. There are 4 Ebony wood points. The butt piece is Ebony wood leading into the maple upper with black joint piece. The shaft is maple with matching black joint piece. Notice that the joint screw is in the shaft which was common for cues of this time period. NOTE: THE POINTS ARE SMOOTH TO THE TOUCH AND NOT RAISED.
Here's a chance to own a piece of history. Paul Huebler worked for this company before he started making cues on his own. These are excellent crafted cues, made of the finest materials of the time and manufactured with the highest level of precision and workmanship. The points on this cue are not inlayed on top after the cue is complete, but go deep into the cue at the beginning, making it a full splice. The telltale sign they are spliced points is that they are super sharp and not rounded at the point. This technique is difficult and time consuming.
Cue together weighs 19.9 ounces.
Butt weighs 16.2oz. 29 1/8" long. Measures 34.8mm(1 3/8inch) at butt, 20.3mm at joint. Bumper looks to be added as these old cues normally didn't have one. Has some roll.
Shaft weighs 3.7 ounces and is 28 3/4" long. 12.3mm at tip, 12.8mm at 6 inches below tip. 5/16 X 14 THREAD. Slight roll of 1/16"
NOTE: THIS COULD MAKE A GREAT PROJECT CUE WITH THE EXTRA THICKNESS AND THE EXCELLENT EBONY WOOD.
