Description
Description:Each TCW122B-RR is an Ethernet based I/O module that has two digital inputs and two relay outputs. Two units can be paired in order to seamlessly send digital IO data to the other paired device. So, a contact closure at one unit, say from an alarm panel, will activate the corresponding relay at the other unit, to say sound a siren. Data is bi-directional.
Supplied individually. Two are required to make an end to end pair.
TCW122B-RR is an Ethernet controller with embedded WEB server for set up. The device has two digital inputs and two relays, with normally open and normally closed contacts.
TCW122B-RR can works in two modes – “Client” or “Server”. The “Client” sends periodically the status of its digital inputs to “Server”. As an answer, the “Server” returns its digital input status. Activating the input of “Client” switches on the relay of “Server” and vice versa. This configuration is used to control remotely devices without a browser or to extend a digital signal to a remote location on the network.
Client-server model of TCW122B-RR allows connecting the devices in different networks:
Both devices are connected to Internet, with public IP addresses;
Both devices are connected to one LAN, with private IP addresses;
“Client” is connected to LAN (private IP address) and “Server” is connected to Internet (public IP address);
“Client” is connected to LAN (private IP address) and “Server” is connected to different LAN but behind router with public IP address and port forwarding
Features:
Password protected web based configuration
2 digital inputs with "dry contact" and "logic level" modes, hardware selected
2 relay outputs with NO and NC contacts (rated 30VAC, 24VDC @ 3A)
Encrypted communication
Manual or DHCP network configuration
Web browser based setup and monitoring
10Mbit Ethernet connectivity
Removable terminal connectors - separated for inputs and outputs
Device ID filtering
Supply voltage, 12 ± 2 VDC
Maximum current consumption (with both relays ON) 200mA
Dimensions, mm 107 x 72 x 32
Operation:
Digital Inputs have two operating modes: "dry contact" and "logic level". Operating mode is selected by changing jumbers DI1/DI2 inside the unit. By default, both jumpers are closed and the Digital Inputs are operated in "dry contact" mode.
In "dry contact" mode, the relays are switched on by default. Putting a signal through the Input Terminals will switch off the relays.
In "logic level" mode, the relays are switched off by default. Putting a voltage signal of ≥2.5V and ≤5.5V through the Input Terminals will switch on the relays.
Vdd terminal can be used as a 5.5V source to activate the digital input in "logic level" mode (No external ground required).
