One of the most common failures of a Bobtach is the top portion of the Bobtach itself -
OEM material thickness is only 1/4" - they simply
wear thin, bend and break over time. When this happens your attachments will fit loosely or fall off of your machine.
With this RVM Rebuild & Repair Kit, you can replace these portions of your Bobtach to help make it appear and operate like new again - without spending 00+ buying a new Bobtach.

If you can cut and weld steel, this kit should work well for you.
We suggest using an Air Arc or Carbon Arc to remove old welds, but a grinder and torch will have the same result.
If done correctly, this will make your Bobtach operate like new.
Remove Bobtach from your machine.
Referring to our photo, remove top 6 5/8" portion of Bobtach shown in Red.
Do not
cut 1/2" vertical support plate, as this plate supports the majority of the weight on your Bobtach.
Weld in new RVM 1/4" Grade 50 Repair Panel in place of old panel.
Install Install Handle Bushing & Horizontal Gusset.
Reinstall Bobtach on your machine...
If done correctly, this can help make your Bobtach operate like new again.
