Dear musicians and collectors, you are bidding on a very fine old 4/4 cello labeled Umperto de Stefano Roma -1948.  No cracks. Beautifully selected wood and the work of an experienced craftsman. Two pieces back of strongly flamed maple wood with matched neck, scroll and ribs, medium grained spruce top. Golden-amber varnish is very transparent. Length of back is 75,4 cm, whole length is 121,3 cm - full size. The sound is powerful, sweet and rich. I have taken high quality pictures so hopefully the details of the violin can be shown.
