History:  Mrs. Arness said that Ken and Jim loved going to the track and they would often go after they finished their work on the Gunsmoke set.  She said that Ken went to the Kentucky Derby in 1974 and he originally bought this FDI as a gift for Jim.  She said Ken signed it and gave it to Jim.  Later Jim added his autograph to the item.
The item is the First Day of Issue of the 100th Running of the Kentucky Derby Stamp.  The item was purchased in Louisville, KY  May 4, 1974 with a 40201 zip-code.
The item measures 6 1/2" x 3 3/4"
The autographs has been obscured to prevent fraudulent reproduction.
A Certificate of Authenticity from the Arness Estate will accompany this item.
