Hopalong Cassidy Advertising Calendar Vintage, 1952. Almost as good as new.
6’’ x 11.5" calendar with a metal strip at the top. Complete calendar for 1952 - each page features a different photo image of William Boyd as Hopalong Cassidy. This calendar has “Melenyzer Funeral Home, Ambulance Service” printed on each page. On the reverse of each page are 3 items: at the top of the page are random facts about the Old West, In the middle of the page is a “Hoppy Says” – a word directly from Hoppy that is a follow-up on the "Hoppy Says" at the bottom of each calendar front page & at the bottom of the page is “Hoppy’s Corral” with more information about the Old West.
Pages have some aging and bottom of January page is curled up. There is
Pencil writing on the months of May & August, noting my family birthdays, including my 12
th
. There is also ink pen writing on Nov 13: “Report Card” – which is strange, since I never cared when or if report cards were due. I could attach a picture of that specific card, but won’t bother. Anybody who was ever a Hoppy fan, should like this old relic. Look at the pictures, displaying the months of Jan - June, and then decide whether to bid or to make a reasonable offer.
