Very early and with very elaborate sketches of some of the finest building in all of Cincinnati at the time – 4th St view, Suspension Bridge, Public Library, Tyler Davidson Fountain, Mabley’s Mammoth Clothing House, Music Hall, Bellevue House, Lion Brewery, Grand Opera House, Highland House, Chas Jacob Slaughtering and Packing House, City Hospital, New Government Building, City Workhouse, Post Office & Custom House, Longview Insane Asylum, Public Landing, Weilert’s Pavilion, and Glendale Female College are all pictured within the book (just a few samples are in my photos). It’s just a wonderful, fairly complete view of Cincinnati before 1900. Closed the book measures about 7.25 by 4.5. Stretches out to an amazing 12 feet!
