WELCOME,THIS LISTING IS FOR A SOUVINER FROM THE SERPENT MOUND PARK IN PEEBLES OHIO IN ADAMS COUNTY, NOT FAR FROM CINCINNATI, DAYTON AND BAINBRIDGE , OHIO.
THE MOUND IS THE LARGEST SERPENTINE EFFIGY IN THE WORLD.
The two leading theories are that the mound was built by either the Adena Culture
(800 BC to 100 AD) around 320 BC, or the Fort Ancient Culture.
(1000 to 1750 AD) around 1070 AD.
THIS WAS PURCHASED THERE IN 1972. NEARLY 50 YEARS OLD NOW.
ITS A DECORATION TO HANG ON A CHAIN NECKLACE, AS YOU CAN SEE THE HOLE IN THE TOP OF THE ARROWHEAD.
ITS METAL IS FORMED IN THE SHAPE OF AN ARROW HEAD WITH WITH GLASS IN THE CENTER SHOWING THE MOUND AND THE NAME.
ITS ABOUT 1 3/4 INCHES TALL AND LITTLE OVER 1 1/ 4 INCHES WIDE.
