    Description

    1962 RE Furse (Seattle) Vera-C Cello in excellent condition. This appears to be a 'folk fiddle' style USA made cello but has a very attractive look and feel. Sound is not overly powerful but it is strong and confident. The maker quality is very good and does not appear to be a on-off by the maker. We were not able to find much information on this maker but They seemed to know everything needed to know about traditional cello construction and built this one with care. The scroll and perfling are a little crude but still very attractive for some reason. Wish we knew more about this mystery maker. Plays great up and down the neck and strung with D'Addario Helicore strings. No case included
